How to Prove Your Crypto Balance to a Seller on Telegram or Discord
A lot of crypto deals happen in chats. A listing goes up in a group, someone sends a message, and within a minute the seller asks: can you show you have it? Here is a cleaner way to answer than a screenshot.
Why chat deals need a better answer
Chats are fast, public and full of people pretending. Sellers get flooded with messages from people who cannot pay. Buyers get asked to prove themselves over and over.
A receipt link is a single message that answers the question once and can be pasted again later.
The 60 second version
Open pof.lol, pick the coin, send 10¢ from the wallet you want to prove, and copy the receipt link. Paste it into the chat.
The seller sees your name, the verified balance, the coin and the date. They do not see the wallet address.
Why not just send a screenshot
Because a screenshot cannot be checked and because a good seller knows that. Asking for a screenshot filters out almost nobody. A verified receipt filters out the people who have nothing.
Etiquette that helps both sides
Sellers: say which coin and what minimum balance you want to see.
Buyers: make the proof in that coin, and offer a fresh one before sending funds.
Both: keep the conversation in the chat so the receipt link stays next to the agreement.
Staying safe in chat deals
A pof.lol receipt is a snapshot of the balance at the moment you made the proof. It is not a live balance and it does not promise the funds are still there later.
Never share seed phrases or private keys with anyone, ever. A proof of funds needs neither.
FAQ
Can I use the receipt in more than one chat?
Yes. It is a link, so you can paste it wherever you need it.
Does the other person see my wallet?
No. The wallet address is not shown on the receipt.
Do I need to share my seed phrase?
Never. A proof of funds does not need it.
