Using Proof of Funds for Giveaways, Whitelists and Gated Channels

Community owners often want to gate something by holdings: a high roller channel, a whitelist spot, a giveaway for serious members. Collecting wallet lists is a privacy mess. Receipts are simpler.
The old way and its problems
Asking members to post their wallet address puts everyone's holdings in public, makes spreadsheets of addresses you now have to protect, and still does not prove the person owns the address.
The receipt way
Ask for a pof.lol receipt in the coin you care about. The member shares one link, you read the verified balance and the date, and you never see the address.

Setting the rules
Say which coin and what minimum.
Set how recent the receipt must be.
Keep a pinned example so members know what to send.
Where to use it
Private channels, whitelist rounds, partner giveaways, OTC rooms, and any place where a minimum balance means something.
Be clear about limits
A pof.lol receipt is a snapshot of the balance at the moment you made the proof. It is not a live balance and it does not promise the funds are still there later.
If a balance must still be there on a certain day, ask for a fresh proof close to that day.
FAQ
Do I need the bot?
No, the receipt link works on its own. The free bots make it more convenient.
Will I see members' wallet addresses?
No.
Can members fake a receipt?
The receipt is a page generated from a real proof, not an uploaded image.
