How to Show a Verified Crypto Balance on Discord

Crypto Discord servers are full of people saying what they hold. Very few can show it. Here is how to share a verified balance in a server without pasting your wallet.
The problem with balance claims in servers
Anybody can type a number. Anybody can post a screenshot. Over time, moderators and members learn to ignore both, and honest members get lumped in with the bluffers.
Using the pof.lol Discord bot
pof.lol has a free Discord bot. Add it to your server and members can check balances right in the chat. /balance shows your own verified balance, /top shows the leaderboard and /duels lists live duels. A member makes a proof on pof.lol first, then shares the receipt link or runs the commands in the server.
Each proof is a receipt that shows the name, the verified balance, the coin and the date. The wallet address is not shown.
Role gating with /gate and /verify
Server admins with the Manage Server permission can run /gate set to require a minimum verified balance. Members then run /verify to receive the server's verified role if they qualify. /gate status shows the current rule and /gate remove turns it off. Nobody has to post a wallet address.

Ideas for server owners
Trade channels: ask sellers and buyers to show a receipt before a deal.
Giveaway and whitelist channels: ask for a proof of a minimum balance instead of a wallet list.
Community events: post the live duels with /duels and let members follow along.
Setting expectations
Tell members that a receipt is a snapshot, not a live balance.
A pof.lol receipt is a snapshot of the balance at the moment you made the proof. It is not a live balance and it does not promise the funds are still there later.
